Loreal night serum

L'Oreal Elvive Re-Nutrition Night Serum: I purchased the L'Oreal Elvive Re-Nutrition Night Serum from Boots for £4.99. It is available at most chemists and supermarkets.
This serum contains extract of royal jelly, which contains amazing sounding ingredients such as glucids, lipids, proteins, amino acids, vitamins and other such exotic sounding substances. This products has a distinct smell like honey. The smell lasts a long time so if you do not like the smell of honey this is not for you.

My hair is long, slightly dry and limp. I don’t tend to treat my hair to well, unfortunately. I wash and blow dry and straighten my hair daily. I also use tons of styling products on it. I wanted a really good night serum that would help me get back to the Kate Middleton bouncy, silky, nourished and moisturised hair.
I put this on my hair before going to sleep. I dispensed 3 pumps in my hands and distributed through to the ends of my hair. Hair must be dry or damp, not wet. The serum is more like a cream than a serum it is non greasy and does not weigh the hair down. This absorbs into your hair and does not leave your pillow with greasy marks. As my hair is very dry at the ends I used 3 pumps instead of the recommended 2.
The next morning I was disappointed, my hair felt a little more nourished but the appearance was not a noticeable difference. It didn't feel any bouncier or softer, or less dry. It did feel easier to straighten though. I will continue to use this once per week to see if it makes any difference with prolonged use.

Pro’s: The price is excellent
Con’s : Not a noticeable difference on my hair

Gel comfort pad

I was sent these cherry blossom gel comfort pads, perfect timing as I had a party to go. The pads are transparent and really thin they were ideal for my high heals. They were very easy to use I peeled of the protective backing and stuck them on to the front side of my heels pointing towards the toes. I was on my feet for five hours and they were very comfortable. At the end of the night my feet felt fresh and for once I did not suffer from blisters or sore feet. I also found that my feet were not slippy in them and they provided a fantastic grip. These are fab and well worth the price at only £3.99 from nationwide Debenham stores.

Starlettos

I was sent a pair starlettos to review and I can sincerely say they are one of the best inventions I have seen for a long time.

The starletto is a heel protector and are small and stylish and slip snugly on the heel of the stilleto. They are shaped to resemble a small flower and look really cute. They prevent heels from penetrating and sinking into grass and other soft ground and provide stability.

I live in heels and I have already used these starlettos half a dozen times. I wore them on my stiletto at a barbeque and for once I was not sinking into the grass or tiptoeing. I was very confident walking around without the fear of falling and my heels looked fab with my outfit. These are also great for indoor use as they prevent slipping.

You can even take them of when you don’t need them and pop them into your handbag.

Pros: No heel repair bills, no more embarrassing falls.

Cons: None that come to mind!

Available in black, red and Crystal (Clear) and sparkle (clear with sparkly bits) there’s a Starletto to suit all shoes and looks. They fit any 8mm-14mm width heel tip of stilleto, boots or kitten heels.

Available for £5.99 plus PP at www.starlettos.co. also stocked at Debenhams nationwide.

Rituals shower gel

I was out shopping in Solihull and I was handed this 50ml bottle of Rituals foaming shower gel Yogi Flow Indian rose and sweet almond oil from someone doing a promotion on it in the shopping centre. The recommended retail price for a 200 ml bottle is £6.50 from rituals shop in Solihull. They also stock this product in John Lewis amongst other large department shops.

When I used this in the shower, I put the gel direct on to a sponge. The gel is clear when you first put it on your sponge but gradually it turns white and changes to foam. I only need a small amount of gel to get a sponge full of foam. Its thick and creamy and smells gorgeous. The Indian rose gives the gel a floral touch while the sweet almond oil is sweet. Together they make a lovely sweet floral fragrance that lingers on your skin for up to an hour afterwards. The shower gel rinses away easily and leaves my skin feeling clean, fresh and soft. It does not leave my skin tight.

Pros: This gel smells fantastic, looks fantastic and makes you feel fantastic. I am in love!!! I love the pink bottle.

Cons: It is a little expensive however, a little does go a long way with this.

Sekonda watch

Sekonda Party Time Watch 4307 £25 from duty free shopping at Birmingham airport

I was working at the airport today and saw this lovely watch. I treated myself as it was 50% off (how could I resist)! I love the adjustable rubber strap, my wrist is tiny so this is perfect for me and very comfortable. The face is an ideal size not to big. The watch can be worn during the day or evening as it is sparkly and glamourous. It is stylish and cool. It is an ideal summer watch. I cant stop looking at it!
